Henk Braam (1960, Broken Hill, Zambia) completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Arnhem in 1984. Subsequently he worked as a photographer for Amnesty International until 1991. In 1992, he joined the renowned photo agency Hollandse Hoogte, and became a member of GKf in 1995. He made long journeys, often for Médecins Sans Frontières to countries such as India, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and China. And for culinary magazines to Rome, Barcelona, Luxembourg, Lausanne, Naples, Munich and Greece. Has been affiliated with Minerva Academy in Groningen and ArtEZ in Arnhem for workshops and lectures.
