    Diana Blok (1952) grew up and studied at Bogota, Columbia and Guatamala. She moved to Amsterdam in 1974 and specialised as a professional photographer. Worked together with Marlo Broekmans on the project INVISIBLE FORCES, which was published as a book in 1983. And later BLOOD TIES AND OTHER BONDS (published in 1990). Commisioned to produce portraits of the Dutch for EXPO 92 in Sevilla.

    Recently TIME TELLS wich was published by Witteveen Art Center in 2012.

    For the past 30 years she has taught master classes and given workskhops throughout the Netherlands as well as abroad in the Royal Academy of Fine Arts/The Hague, NL, Rijksacademie/Amsterdam, Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, University for Industrial Arts Helsinki/Finland, Goteborg Photography School, Sabanci University, Istanbul. During this period she developed a very efficient method of facilitating the creative process called ” Invisible Portraits”. Many of her projects have been supported on various occasions by the Foundation of Visual Arts and Architecture in Amsterdam as well as by the Mondriaan Foundation of the Netherlands.
